  Some persons who own private schools under the auspices of the NAPPS, have reach out to the Nigeria federal government to allow schools operate in the country, stating that the cause of closing down schools are more deadly than the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Thousands arrested in South Africa for failing to comply with Covid-19 rules

  Over seven-thousands persons have been arrested for failing to comply with Coronavirus rules. These set of individuals fail to put on nose masks in public place. The police carry out the arresting start from December 2020, the government said on Wednesday. Officially, putting on nose masks made mandatory in May last year at the same time as they start by easing movement restrictions imposed in March to stem Covid-19 infections. Giant social media site Twitter disabled President Donald Trump's handle

  Twitter has permanently disabled US president's official handle for continually violating the platform policy. The ban is to serve as punishment for going against their community standard severally. "The Company make the decision when several review have been conducted about the president Twitter posts, the president's account is found to posting threat message to the risk life and properties. We've taken down the president's account to avoid more mislead. This was posted on the 08 January, 2021 by the Company." The disablement occour  after he was found guilty of violating platform rules. The Company also announced, they place strike warning on the  president's account on 06 January, 2021. One of his tweets in video, Trump seeing calling the past presidential election as "Fraudulent".

 I'm wondering Zlatan unfollowed and blocked me on both Instagram and Whatsapp  Award winning singer and DJ, Dj Cuppy is still in shock why rapper, Zlatan Ibile un-followed her on Instagram and still blocked her on Whatsapp She said, the rapper did not even bother to give her explanation on why he did blocked her. The two singers had sang a hit track together. On her official Twitter handle, DJ Cuppy get to notice that is over ten months rapper Zlatan blocked and un-followed her. Cuppy make known that they're good friends and have collaborated on "Gelato". "After working together as friends for several months and also collaborated on the hit track, I have no single idea why Zlatan un-followed me just like that without any explanation from him."

Schools resumption date remain January 18 in Enugu State – Prof. Uche Eze

The Ministry of Education has make public the date schools are to resume in the State. The ministry stated that schools will resume on the 18 of January, 2021, in Enugu State. Profession Uche Eze, was called for a meeting between the Ministry of Education and major stakeholders in the educational sector, on Monday been the 4 day o January. Mr. Uche Eze said that all schools in the state were advised to ensure full resumption by following the NCDC order to maintain COVID-19 spreading, stressing that “the Ministry of Education will keep watch for compliance when schools resume”.   Prof. Uche Eze further say that “it was also decided that to help students/pupils engage with their studies, all schools are advised to engage with their e-learning programs”. Politics: Campaigns suspended by Uganda electoral system due to coronavirus

Uganda Electoral body, on 26 December, 2020, reveal that it has suspended all political campaigns in eleven districts that the Ministry of Health considers coronavirus hit places. The Electoral body spokesman, Paul Bukenya, open up in a tweet that the suspension takes immediate effect in the eleven districts of Mbarara, Luwero, Kasese, Masaka, Wakiso, Kabarole, Jinja, Kalungu, Kazo, Kampala and Tororo areas. The electoral body suspend the activities just three weeks before the Jan. 14 Uganda general elections. The electoral commission in the past tell politicians not to hold rallies of more than 200 people gathering in a bid to limit the possible spread of the virus. Despite the warning given by the electoral commission, politicians continue to hold big rallies sparking clashes between the Police and campaigners. The commission, early last month, removed eleven presidential candidates, including incumbent President Yoweri Museveni, to run in the 2021 general elections in the country.
